In the meantime, for those of you who know and love matcha, here are a couple different ideas to make amazing matcha shake/smoothie recipes:
Matcha Milkshake
Ingredients:
1 tsp matcha
1/2 cup almond milk
1/4 tsp vanilla extract
3/4 cup vanilla ice cream
Few ice cubes--optional
Put all ingredients into blender, and blend away! Yummy!
I would like to note that the less almond milk and more ice cream, the thicker the shake. I use almond milk, but you can use any milk you prefer. I also use a Nutribullet to make my shakes, therefore the powder is effectively mixed and the almond milk measurement could be more or less depending if you fill it to the "max line".
Matcha Morning Smoothie
Ingredients:
1 tsp matcha
1 banana
1 cup almond milk
Few ice cubes
Put all ingredients into blender, and blend away! Enjoy.
